This seems to be 'trending' on Twitter and Facebook now:

My friend has added that some people might say 'Well, those people didn't invent anything'.

Yeah, who cares about the other 80% of human race consisting of merely dying children, raped women, tortured men and an exploited continent, when I can get a iPhone4S to post this crap on my fb wall?
The world now is NONSENSE.

If those people were given the same education, opportunities, fortunes, support and luck (Plus a visa to get to 'this side of the world') that Jobs had, at least a hundred out of that million could've invented something that would've avoided the society we live in being messed up like now.

I respect Jobs for his incredible foresight* and agree that he was a brilliant man, but he did nothing to change the world where those million children die in.

Has Jobs really changed THE WORLD?
Has the FUTURE really got smaller?
Has THE WORLD really lost a significant part of it, like what they claim in the media?

In the strictest sense, I'm afraid, no.

When the sky looses a star, the universe still looks as beautiful as ever.
The shooting star* looks ethereal, but fades even from our memories after a night's dream.

This too shall pass.

(* on a personal level, for having brought up Pixar to where it is now)
(**or meteor, to be accurate)
