A MODERN JESTER

While reading 'As You Like It' for the school project, a thought suddenly came across my mind.

Shakespeare often illustrates 'wise fools' in his plays, such as Touchstone and Mercutio.
The reason why they were branded as fools was because of their light-hearted (or seemingly so) approach to life and love, as opposed to the serious and solemn characteristics of heroes/heroines.

The world has now changed - those who are not virtuous and don't get too serious about love or life are the 'cool' lot; and those who get too 'deep' into things and insist on keeping their morals has become the new 'fools'.

So I just thought, maybe I'm a fool then.

By the way, this one's good, no matter how many times I look at it:
